How will Mohamed Sanu be utilized?

People fail to realize he was on an offensive loaded team. Between AJ Green, Tyler Eifert, Marvin Jones, and Giovanni Bernard. His stats obviously dramatically decrease.

Sanu caught 33 passes for 394 yards last year. Some fans are bringing up comparisons to former Falcons receiver Peerless Price. Price signed a huge contract in 2001 to be the Falcons number one receiver. Price damn sure didn't lived up to the contract.

Sanu signed 5 year 32.5M, 14M guaranteed.

Contract breakdown: Sanu

$1 mil (2016) 2.4 guaranteed 14 mil
$6 mil (2017) 7.4 guaranteed 11.6 mil
$6 mil (2018) 7.4 guaranteed 4.2 mil
$6 mil (2019) 7.4 guaranteed 2.8 mil
$6.5 mil (2020) 7.9 guaranteed 1.4 mil

Final Thoughts - Don't expect crazy numbers from Sanu. The Falcons have a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball. Julio Jones who caught a franchise record 136 balls. Devonta Freeman, Justin Hardy and tight ends Jacob Tamme and Austin Hooper.

Matt Ryan hasn't had weapons like this since 2012,  Mike Turner, Julio Jones, Roddy White and hall of fame tight end Tony Gonzalez.

Sanu will most likely be used to control the middle of the field and open up more one on one's for Julio Jones or tight end mismatches.
